About Celtic Papers
Celtic Papers was founded by Diane Rook in 1996. Diane spent the first 2 years selling
the basic tartan cards at weekend Scottish Games from Brunswick Maine to Waxhaw North Carolina (see photos)

In 1998 Diane decided to jump in full time.
While there are a few games to which Diane didn't go ... she puts a lot of miles on the
company vehicles every year.
Little did she know she'd
be working longer and harder hours as CEO of her own company than she did in
her 30 year career as a magazine editor. As CEO she is responsible for everything
from the conceptual design and layout to purchasing, production, marketing and distribution for all
Celtic Papers products. According to Diane, the best part of her job is
still going to the dozen or so games a year and meeting the people who buy her products.
She's assisted in this by her son Billy who also manufactures the bookmarks and helps produce and
package many of the other items.
Her husband David, a retired engineer, helps mainly by keeping the company computers running smoothly.
He is also the programming talent behind the "ScreenDancer®" brand PC Screensavers and the Celtic Papers web site.
The business was incorporated in the Commonwealth
of Virginia in 2002 as Celtic Papers LLC .
Celtic Papers growth can be attributed to the fine quality of the products and the excellent artwork
